Mike Westbrook’s OFF ABBEY ROAD was commissioned by Commune di Reggio Emilia, Italy and premiered in December 1988 as part of a Festival celebrating the music of The Beatles. OFF ABBEY ROAD was toured internationally by the Mike Westbrook Band and recorded for Enja Records at the Willisau Jazz Festival in August 1989. This later version, AFTER ABBEY ROAD, was recorded at the Gostenhofer Jazztage, Nuremberg on 5th October 1996. She Loves You was recorded at the Willisau Jazz Festival on 27th August 2009 (with Richard Newby on drums).
