O duo formado pelas pianistas Bianca Gismonti e Claudia Castelo Branco foi a sensação do MIDEM (Cannes/França), principal feira internacional do mercado fonográfico em janeiro último. Seu segundo disco de carreira, Flor de Abril, sai simultaneamente no Brasil, França e EUA com turnê européia em Outubro passando por Amsterdam, Paris, Istambul e Zurich. Virtuosismo ao piano e construção de arranjos inspirados, já era uma marca do Gisbranco. Em “Flor de Abril”, Bianca e Claudia apresentam verve e talento para a composição e para o canto.
O disco traz 6 composições próprias com destaque para “Sabiá e Beija-Flor”, letra e música de Bianca Gismonti, e “Serra do Céu”, música de Claudia Castelo Branco e letra de Marcos Campello. Nesses temas Bianca e Claudia mostram que além de exímias pianistas e arranjadoras, são donas de vozes belas e afinadas. Completam o repertório temas de Chico César, Egberto Gismonti, Hermeto Pascoal, Edu Lobo, Baden Powell e Villa-Lobos. The duo pianists by Bianca Gismonti and Claudia Castelo Branco was a sensation on MIDEM (Cannes / France), the premier international music market last January.
