If he is less than forthcoming in interviews, nobody could accuse Keith Jarret of holding back on record. On Creation, out 4th May 2015, the Allentown native presents his personal selection of music recorded throughout 2014 at his concerts in Japan, Canada and Europe. Whilst his previous solo offerings have shown the process of improvisation as it develops over the course of a single evening, on Creation Jarrett concentrates on the most revealing moments from across six performances spanning Tokyo, Toronto, Paris and Rome. With this slightly altered approach, he shows us the essential nature of spontaneous musical creation and proves once again his ability to evolve as a musician. Absolutely brilliant. © CM/Qobuz
