Jazz Vocalist Emily Wolf has studied with musicians such as Dominique Eade, Anita Wardell, Ran Blake, George Garzone, Sheila Jordan, Jerry Bergonzi and many more. She now lives in New York, regularly performing with her Jazz Quartet.
Wolf’s influences include Nancy Wilson, Abbey Lincoln, Betty Carter, Anita O’Day, Hank Mobley and Dexter Gordon. With a warm, expressive tone Wolf uses each melody as a vehicle for lyrical exploration, and her eloquent vocal improvisation reinforces this, delivering an intriguing stylistic performance.
