The group toured twenty countries, appearing in the major capitals (Paris, London, Brussels, Rome, New York, Djakarta, Berlin, Jerusalem, Singapore...). Downbeat magazine considered UZEB one of the best electric jazz groups in the world.
When the group disbanded, it had earned 9 Felix awards (Jazz Album of the Year in 1983-84-86-87-90-91, Group of the Year 1984-1989, Most Famous Performer Outside Quebec 1990), a Gémeaux prize in 1989 (best original music), a SOCAN prize in 1990 (jazz category), a Musique Plus prize for the UZEB CLUB video, and the Oscar Peterson prize in 1991, awarded by the Montreal International Jazz Festival. In July 1992, UZEB made its farewell at an outdoor stage at the festival before 96,000 people.

I was looking for their famous song (in Indonesian jazz community) "Pork Chops" (taken from You Be Easy album) when I found this album almost 20 years ago. Though this one got no song compares to Pork Chops, no doubt for me "Acapella" is their best song of all times. I think the guitar is really- really talking about something that will take you to many places beyond your imagination everytime you listen to this one. Other great song is "Nice", a slow song with romantic nuances you won't find in their other albums, which is perfectly reflecting it's title. "Number Five" and "Le Baiser Sale" are their songs which will easily make you understand what their music really is. A Very Creative Fusion/Jazz Rock.
