One of the voices that revolutionized the music scene coincides on stage with the reference flamenco guitarist in Catalonia.
A reunion that promises to add new life into the rumba’s ida y vuelta (‘roundtrip songs’) and to travel into the most diverse musical paths. A tour through the border limits between different traditional music that throughout history, have had already connections of ida y vuelta. “Without prejudices or limitations. From the music and popular feeling. Everyday stories and fresh, introspective but accessible, with Barcelona as designation of origin.
In this project, Marinah & Chicuelo experience adapting and mixing lyrics, rhythms and melodies, but always with the flamenco guitar as a link. A journey without limitations, breaking any kind of label. A “free” tour to rumba as a model of meeting and improvisation, reaching the border limits and investigating unknown fields that will lead to other landscapes. Miles Davis, John Coltraine Garcia Lorca or the popular habanera Mi madre fue una mulata will not miss this party.

Una de las voces que, desde Ojos de Brujo, revolucionó la escena musical coincide con el guitarrista de referencia del panorama flamenco. Marinah y Chicuelo han plasmado su irreverente aventura en un nuevo disco. Creatividad en estado puro.
Juntos transitan y cruzan las fronteras entre diferentes músicas de raíz, les inyectan nueva vida sin prejuicios ni ataduras. Con la rumba como punto de reunión e improvisación, celebran una fiesta a la que asisten desde Miles Davis o John Coltrane hasta García Lorca o la popular habanera Mi Madre fue una mulata.
Carlos Sarduy en trompeta, teclados y congas, Javi Martín en bajo, y David Domínguez a la percusión, disfrutan y hacen disfrutar, como partícipes necesarios, esta travesura musical de Marinah y Chicuelo.
