Tastexperience, also known as TX, is a London-based musical collective that recorded the transglobal beats on BEYOND THE HORIZON as an homage to their favorite international beaches. This cool, casual sound is at the heart of Tastexperience's image; like their music, they're all about chilling out and swaying to lounge tracks that feed the soul. After a series of successful singles and remixes dating back to 1992, TX fans have eagerly awaited a full-length release, and BEYOND THE HORIZON does not disappoint. Swirling melodies whip up out of ambient beats, creating whole songs out of introductions that sound like random beeps. Guest vocalists keep the tracks fresh and varied. "Magic Tribe" features dance-floor veteran Maria Nayler's soulful vocals paired with a chorus of childlike voices that is reminiscent of the music of chart-toppers Deep Forest. TX prides itself on using real people playing real instruments and live vocals instead of relying on samples and studio wizardry.
