A bit of history:
Fontana recorded over two nights at the Old Place and the original Zoot Sims at Ronnie Scott's album (Fontana TFL 5176) contained two tracks by Zoot with the Tracey, Napper, Dougan rhythm section (Love for Sale and Gone With The Wind) and one with Ronnie Scott and Jimmy Deuchar added (Desperation). The Harold McNair Quartet also appear on two tracks (Harry Flick's and Tangerine) and the Scott-Deuchar Quintet feature on The Haunted Jazz Club and Suddenly Last Tuesday.
A second volume, titled Solo for Zoot (Fontana 680 982 TL) was issued shortly after with four further quartet tracks, Stompin' At The Savoy, Blues In E Flat (actually Gary McFarland's Blue Hodge) Autumn Leaves and Somebody Loves Me.
In the mid-1960s Dutch Fontana re-released all the quartet tracks (except for Blues In E Flat) with Desperation on the album Cookin'.
However, due to space limitations, Love For Sale was rather crudely edited.
Fresh Sounds released all the quartet material in 1991 on the CD Zoot Sims Quartet Live At Ronnie Scott's 61 (FSR-CD 134) but evidently used the Cookin' album to dub from as Love For Sale appears again in edited form.
Japanese Universal reissued Cookin' as a limited edition in 2005 (UCCU 5272).
