"On stage are the 'techno' musicians ('techno' used in the broadest sense... scratch, sampling, play back, computers, etc). Through the use of 'traffic lights' as a cue device, the Improvising musicians (techno gladiators!) confront, interrupt, disturb, complement, make arrangements with, play with, or turn off... the 'techno' machine. There is a continual walk on/walk off atmosphere. This piece was first performed at The Wels Festival, Austria in 1995 with some 30 musicians."
