The Swingle Singers, коллектив с 45-летней историей, считается каноническим ансамблем а капелла: они могут из простых голосовых фигур соорудить хоть мелодию Beatles, хоть фугу Баха. За последним и стоит идти в ММДМ: серия альбомов «Jazz Sebastian Bach», выпущенная в 60-е, — лучшее, что было в их дискографии. Впрочем, исконные французские TSS, начинавшие на бэк-вокале у самого Шарля Азнавура, распались еще в 1973 году. Нынешних — британских — певцов с прежними связывает только имя основателя коллектива Варда Свингла.
