Dana currently resides in Nashville, TN, where she continues her musical journey. Nashville's thriving music scene has given Dana the opportunity to work with
many great artists such as ARETHA FRANKLIN, JEFF LORBER, AL GREEN,
CECE WINANS, RUFUS THOMAS, THE O'JAYS, BILL CHAMPLIN, JOHNNY LANG, JAMES BROWN, JOE SAMPLE, JEWELL, JOHN ENTWISTLE, STACY MITCHHART

While living in LA, Dana enjoyed seven years touring and recording with
BARRY MANILOW playing soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophones
as well as flute and piccolo. She also played with TOWER OF POWER,
ROGER DALTREY, JOHN MAYALL, FRANK ZAPPA, and PHILLIP BAILEY.
Television was another great gig, working as the Band Leader and
Music Director for "THE CHUCK WOOLERY SHOW."
Growing up outside Detroit, Dana grew to love R&B and the Motown sound.
Dana started studying piano at age four and saxophone when she was ten.
Dana enjoyed the luxury of excellent junior high and high school band directors. Summers were spent playing in a jazz band program directed by the famous trumpet player, Louis Smith. Her father, a University of Michigan professor
who loved jazz, and her mother, an accomplished classical pianist, showed
her a wide variety of musical styles. She eventually studied music at the
University of Michigan. Pursuing her love of jazz and blues, Dana left Michigan
and enrolled in The Berklee College of Music in Boston.
There she studied for two years.
