Guitars, fretless bass and exotic instruments including the concert harp and various percussions form an ideal backdrop for the singer, with Sara K. sounding articulate to the highest degree. Sara K's songs reflect folk-blues, rock and jazz sensibilities, and together with her intelligent lyrics they are in a class by themselves. As is the case with her prior recordings, Made In The Shade is beautifully recorded with stunning, vivid details that move the listener.
