Ai Kuwabara Trio specializes in Kuwabara’s anthentic jazz piano performances, re-written by Yusuke Morita, the core player of the trio. The band plays unique music with a fresh sense of jazz performed with skilled techniques. They made a debut nationwide in November 2011 and their second album “The Sixth Sense” has hit the top chart. “The Window” will be released in April 2014 as their third album.
Kuwabara has been playing instruments since childhood – until the middle of junior high school she played electric piano. Since graduating high school in 2010, she has continued the creative process of music writing, tuning and planning on her own. Morita has been an outstanding player for bands since high school. Self taught, Morita has been collaborating with professional musicians since attending university.
