Noahlewis' Mahlon TaitsNoahlewis' Mahlon Taits have been playing standard pops and original songs with nonstandard mentality and arrangements from their begging 1997. And still making their music in extraordinaly sensitive style.
Noahlewis' Mahlon Taits have debuted from EM Records(Osaka, Japan) in 2000 with 7inch "Noahlewis' Mahlon Taits e.p.". Followed by mini album CD "Six Pieces For Dancing" and first full album "Noahlewis' Mahlon Taits / st".
In 2003, second full album "Sitting On Bottom Of The World" then third album in 2005 "Plays" from Nowgomix Records. Also supervised two compilation album of selected 78rpms from the golden days of American music. "Sweetest Music This Side Of Heaven / V.A."(P-vine Records), "I Wonder What Became Of These Records / V.A."(Bridge inc.).
Founder member, Koya Abe opened a record store in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo in 2001.
Played at SXSW in 2001 and 2006.
Personnel: Bo Suzuki (drums, percussion), Koya Abe (bass), Ryo Takematsu (guitars), Tomoaki Oshima (ukulele, horns, vocals), Yoriko Matsumoto (accordion, keyboards), Fumiya Morita (saw, saxophone, clarinet).
