Voices. Sue Raney sang lead, and Med Flory (altoist and co-founder of Supersax) doubled as one of the singers. While "In the Still of the Night" and "Old Folks" were originally recorded by Charlie Parker and the Dave Lambert Singers, the other songs on this LP were either cut by Parker without voices or not even by the altoist (particularly Med Flory's "L.A."), so more liberties were taken than usual for a Supersax record.
