The album's got Billy and other vocalists singing along with his vibes and marimba -- over the top of tightly vamping rhythms by the combo, served up with a breezy, jazzy approach that's totally great. There's plenty of warm changes in the rhythms -- almost in the style of Bobby Hutcherson's work of the same time, but a fair bit more varied overall as well -- thanks to some unusual material included by Wooten in the set.
