The story began in October 2011 after a performance by Jacques Loussier had to be canceled on very short notice.After a rehearsal of a mere 90 minutes, David Gazarov delighted the Loussier fans. Critics spoke of "a worthy successor…". The subsequent concerts at the Berlin Philharmonic, in Hamburg, Hannover, Bremen and Stuttgart confirmed and enhanced his success. Окончил Бакинскую консерваторию, а позднее - Институт им. Гнесиных в Москве. В 80-х годах выступал на джазовых фестивалях в Москве, Санкт-Петербурге, Тбилиси и Ереване. Он исполняет как джаз, так и классику. В 1991 году уезжает в Мюнхен (а затем в Австрию), где работает с Биллом Гудвином (Bill Goodwin), Чаком Израэльсом (Chuck Israels), Элвином Куином (Alvin Queen), Нильсом Педерсеном (Nils H. O. Pedersen), Джонни Гриффином (Johnny Griffin), Робертой Гамбарини (Roberta Gambarini), Бадди Ди Франко (Buddy De Franco) и множеством других известных музыкантов. Давид выступал на джазовом фестивале в Монтрё (1997), на «Джаз-Ралли» в Дюссельдорфе, Jazz-Open в Штутгарте (2000). Классическая школа дала ему свой особый, по-настоящему виртуозный стиль игры, который достаточно отличен от привычного всем джазового исполнения. В последние годы проживает в Загребе.
