Se dedicу a tocar Rock, Jazz, Fusiуn, Funk, Soul y hasta Heavy Metal. Comienza como mъsico profesional en 1990 donde hizo una excelente carrera: forma parte de varios grupos con Black Amaya y Jorge Pinchevsky, ex violinista de Gong (Francia) y Pink Floyd (Inglaterra) entre otros. Entre 1994 y 1998 pasa a formar parte del grupo Pappo's Blues liderado por Norberto Pappo Napolitano, el mejor guitarrista de blues de la Argentina, con quien toca mбs de 300 shows en vivo, en Argentina y el exterior, incluyendo 5 shows soportes de Rolling Stones en River y de B.B.King en Obras. Graba el disco Pappo's Blues 8-Caso Cerrado , donde toca el tema ruta 66 entre otros, ademбs de compartir crйditos con Jhon Lee Hooker, Carmine Appice (Rod Stewart), Tim Bogert (Jeff Beck Group), y otros mъsicos internacionales. 1998: Participу en la grabaciуn del 3er. disco en vivo de la banda de heavy metal Logos, editado en todo el mundo, a pedido de su lнder, Beto Zamarbide, ex-V8, y su posterior gira nacional. Asimismo participo en giras, shows y zapadas con Aquelarre en su reuniуn en la Expo-Rock de 1997, con la Missisippi Blues Band, con su amigo Hector Starc, Lito Vitale, Leуn Gieco, Ara Tokatlian, Ricardo Mollo , Skay Bellinson y otros. Paralelamente a toda actividad desarrollada, en 1998, arma un proyecto solista de mъsica instrumental inclinada a la fusiуn progresiva y graba 5 discos, los dos ъltimos editados en Francia, Rusia, Japуn, Alemania, Italia y otros paнses con muy buenas crнticas de prensa especializada. Habiendo realizado repetidos shows en vivo y en TV, entre ellos dos especiales en el canal Music Country con Hйctor Starc en 2001 y 2002, con Carlos Riganti en baterнa y en canal 13 en Ese Amigo del Alma grabando un cd junto a Lito Vitale en teclados y en el que fueron incorporados 3 temas de su autorнa. En el aсo 2003 graba el c.d Recargado del guitarrista del grupo Riff, Boff Serafine, junto al Bolsa Gonzбles en baterнa. Tambiйn colabora con su amigo el guitarrista Luciano Napolitano, hijo de Pappo, en su banda Lovorne, donde grabo su 2do.cd mas R&R y toco en vivo en shows y festivales como Cosquin Rock 2005 y Quilmes Rock 2004. Se presento en el Festival de La Falda 2004 acompaсando a Edelmiro Molinari y en el 4to. Festival Jazz y Otras mъsicas, Gobierno de Bs.As. 2005 con un trнo de fusiуn. MACHY MADCO, se dedica a su banda, la que presento en el 5to. Desde el aсo 2007 al 2009, radico en Mexico City, donde toco casi diariamente, con su trio de fusion (MADCO trio), y dirigio las jam-sessions del prestigioso lugar internacional RUTA 61 BLUES BAR, grabando un nuevo c.d. producido por Santiago Fandiсo, llamado ALDEBARAN 6 , con musicos arg. Y mex, teniendo ademas el importantisimo apoyo de la marca de bajos de Chicago, U.S.A. LAKLAND ( Mexico) marca de la cual es el unico endortsment argentino, y de las cuerdas mexicanas JIMMY WESS de gran calidad. Actualmente regresa a Bs.As, a presentarse en diversos eventos, con su espectaculo llamado blues sin limites , atractiva mezcla de blues, funk, soul, latin con temas propios y versiones de Stevie Wonder, James Brown, B.B.King, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, etc ademas de eventos promocionales para WENSTONE Amplificacion, bajos D.O.H. He lists progressive, blues, jazz and Latin music as major forms of inspiration, and on this cd - Sueño Azul, he covers all sorts of musical terrain, with a talented listing of musicians to bring his musical creations to life.Being that Machy Madco is the bassist/songwriter, the songs have that noticeable bass presence behind the songs, whether it be funky, smooth, jazzy, he shows the skills of a musician that has been dedicated to his craft, yet like a true professional, Machy does not try to steal the show, his songs take a life of their own, the compositions are strong, and he willfully shares the spotlight with the other musicians involved on each song.This cd is presented by Viajero Immovil records, which has presented some interesting new artists to the unsuspecting public, I am not sure how the label works, but if I could critique one thing, the few cds I have heard from the label seem to have less than stellar production sound, even this cd, which is full of fantastic performances, seems to be mixed a little light, especially for a bass forward cd, where the bass and drums could be music more punchy. Perhaps they are on a limited budget, which I would understand, but a great mix could have done wonders for the overall effect this cd has as a whole, some sounds live, so perhaps that is what I am hearing, or maybe some are archival recordings.As a jazz/fusion cd, this is some pretty good music really, not only do you hear a well rounded group of fairly unknown musicians, but you are able to hear a broad spectrum of music throughout the length of the cd, I hope my review here helps Machy Madco find an audience in the jazz/fusion circles, as he is a force on the bass, and has a good feel for being creative as a composer as well._________________________________Machy Madco is a bass player/composer from Argentina. Coming soon after his release of the album, Manuscritos, Sueňo Azul is a compilation of mostly bluesy guitar instrumentals written and recorded originally at home between 1997 and 2000 and featured on his 3 earlier albums, Nocturno, Area 51 and Live in bs.as. Eleven short compositions make up this tasteful work which makes equally good late night listening or calming background music to work or drive to. Each song is either presented by Madco himself playing all parts or with guest musicians. Opening with a couple of mellow numbers, "Funkyto" is the first piece to make you sit up and take note with its complex fuzzed bass and strident guitar arrangement. Hector Starc (of Aqualarre) on guitar particularly stands out here. Tempos vary nicely throughout, for example between the smoochy "Banderita" and the raunchy "Abeto" which follows. Track six is a pure bass arrangement ala Squire's "Fish" with Madco using the two ends of the bass range to create an interesting little quasi-duet.The funky wah-wah guitar and percussion on the next track lends a Santana feel (circa Caravanserai) to the arrangement. "Triangulito" is another arrangement for bass guitar, this time more laconic, while saxophone makes a brief contribution on "Circulito de Escobios", the most jazz-influenced composition on the album with hints of Chick Corea in the style.
