Saraj   Об исполнителе (группе) Fusio Group is one of the longstanding ensembles of Hungarian jazz: it was founded in 1992 by the freshly graduated drummer, Péter Szendőfi. The group followed the best American examples of modern electronic jazz with its taut surging music and biting, mordent grooves. They haven’t changed direction since then and Fusio Group has now matured into one of the best known and most successful jazz fusion bands in the whole region. It certainly helped that Szendőfi won a scholarship to study in New York with the masters of the genre: Dave Weckl, Dennis Chambers and Jojo Mayer gave him personal tuition. Szendőfi’s drumming follows the time honoured tradition of powerful sound, virtuoso technique and a sure sense of tempo.
