Backed by the talented rhythm section of bassist Hassan J.J. Wiggins Shakur and drummer Mark Taylor, Alexander tackles such epic compositions as Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" and Rodrigo's "En Aranjuez Con Tu Amor." He also takes on Ellington's "Creole Love Call" and Mercer's "I'm an Old Cowhand" with much success.
