Track 7 was not on the original release of the album; it is a bonus track on the 1999 reissue. The 1999 reissue has slightly different credits: D.St is also credited for "FX" on tracks 1, 2 & 6. Nicky Skopelitis is credited for playing electronic drums (instead of guitar) on track 1. Laswell's DMX & shortwave credit on track 2 is omitted. Wayne Shorter is credited for playing lyricon instead of soprano saxophone on track 3. Aiyb Dieng's not credited for playing don don on track 4, and he isn't credited for the chatan & bells on track 6, either. Given the amount of spelling mistakes and Columbia's general sloppiness in handling these reissues (cf. Perfect Machine), the original 1984 credits seem to be more accurate. A shorter version of track 4 ("Junku") can also be found on the album The Official Music of the 1984 Games, which was released earlier the same year. Tracks 3 and 6 ("Karabali" and "Sound-System") can also be found on the compilation The Very Best Of Herbie Hancock (1991). A remix of track 2 ("Metal Beat") can be found on the compilation Valis II: Everything Must Go (1997).  CD scan  Back scan  EAC log EAC extraction logfile from 29.
