The songs all sound as if they were recorded and mixed in 1966/1967, complete with instruments panned more towards a certain channel. The music often blends itself between sounding narrow and fully developed stereo, but Lacaze’s vocals sound very crisp and clear. Despite the language barrier, Lacaze sings with richness and carries herself quite well, as if she traveled on a a jet in 1966, landed in Detroit, New Orleans, or Chicago and said “faisons un peu de magie musicale”.
