His journey is atypical since he started boxer and barman at the same time to provide for his needs. It's a job in Camargue which put him in touch with guitares and more precisely with flamenco. Beside Nicolas Bouquet (his boss) flamenco quickly becomes an addiction . In order to master the percussions, rhythmic and melodic aspects of guitare, he practises eight hours a day during a few years then improves by taking traditionnal flamenco lessons with Pedro (Pierre Tiseire), a guitar player from Lille. He puts up his first group "Los Banderos" in 1995 with two fellow flamenco guitare players, then an arabic-andalusian group with his uncles. In 1997-1998, he accompanies Mauricio, a soloist, in London. This experience allows him to gain a rhythmical rigor since he works at a steady pace: each performance lasts one hour with a metronom at a 165 tempo. Back in Lille, he puts up a duo with Juan-Marco a latino guitare player. The collaboration is profitable : the both of them perform in many bars of the region which allows El Kado to widen his public. Since the year 2000 he decided to dedicate himself to his compositions in the perspective of releasing the album "Tourbillon", auto produced with a familial support and by playing rue de Bethune in Lille. Nowadays, El Kado is working on his third album. In the Concerts headings El Kado offers a sneak peak of his compositions which will show in the third album.Discogs
