Dubdiver presents a journey into soft, but still grooving soundscapes. Being 4 years old Stefan got his first drum which lead him to take drum lessons at the age of six. As a teenager he started touring and later releasing with various bands. His organic use of samplers and sequencers in live-presentation aroused further interest in producing electronic music. He built up his own studio, produced music for radio-commercials and audiovisual presentations and released a first track under the name dubdiver.  Об альбоме (сборнике)The athmospheric sound combines musical elements of Downbeat, Drum & Bass and Global Beats. His musical journey leads the listener to soft, but still grooving soundscapes. Dancehall and Trip-Hop vibes touch the Orient, breakbeats contest with Sitar and acoustic guitars, electronic sounds breeze around Tabla-beats.By combining contemporary electronic music with indigenous instruments warm soundpaintings originate. Live-played and programmed sounds complement one another and are being filtered, edited and newly assembled till a new homogenous and organic sound arises.Corresponding to this idea, Korn was able to transpose other friend musicians contributions into the Dubdiver-sound:“Shine” was a U.K. No.1 Hit of reggae-act Aswad back in the nineties which they wrote together with Joe Cang, London-based producer and bass-player of Scritti Politti and Galliano. On Floating Beats you’ll find a remix of Joe Cang’s new interpretation.Singer Anja Oehming graduated in classical singing.
