With straight ahead jazz style and simple piano trio line-ups, they draw a very different soundscape to SOIL & "PIMP" SESSIONS. They played as trio at several jazz clubs in Tokyo stealthily in the beginning. Gradually they started playing short sets in the middle of SOIL & "PIMP" SESSIONS show. In summer of 2007, J.A.M got slot at Field of Heaven stage of famous Japanese festival, Fuji Rock Festival at the last minutes due to sudden cancelation of other artist. Their performance uplifted packed audience with dazzlingly transformed piano melody on non-stop flood of rhythms. Power and torque (turning force) like jam bands, novel blinks in common with new generation of Jazz musicians like Robert Glasper who create an uplifting impression … new jazz standards are in the hands of three maestros who are obsessed by jazz.
