Black Winter  Об исполнителе (группе)Ida Rønshaugen (b. 1985) is a saxophonist that compose, arrange and perform her music. Ida comes from Harpefoss in Gudbrandsdalen, Norway. She now lives in Oslo. Her interests in music started early in life. At the age of 4 she started with music education. As a nine year old Ida was introduced to the saxophone. Ida was the lead saxophonist in the bigband “Fossajazz” from she was 14, and that became her first real meeting with jazz. Ida went to the music section at Vinstra Vidaregåande Skule (High School) from 2002. Her saxophone teachers were Franticek Svoboda, Jonas Cisar Romme and Espen Reinertsen. After high school, Ida moved to Oslo and took one year at the Nordic Institute of Scene and Studio where she studied with Fredrik Øie Jensen. In the capital Ida got new musical contacts and she played in a lot of different bands and projects. The year after she started her bachelor at the Norwegian Academy of Music, where she studied from 2006- 2011. Her teachers were Morten Halle,Børge Are Halvorsen and Frode Nymo. Ida has worked with Arve Tellefsen, Kvarts, Birger Mistereggen, Eldbjørg Hemsing, Ragnhild Hemsing, Marian Aas Hansen at the tv show “Senkveld med Thomas og Harald” (Tv2), Mari Maurstad, Linda Øvrebø, Nils Christian Fossdal, Jan Ivar Lund, Vegard Moshagen, Øystein Rudi, Geir Lysne, Erlend Skomsvoll, Aladin Abbas, Stine Larsen and a lot of other artists, bands and projects, both in studio and live. Ida started to write music when she studied at the Nordic Institute of Scene and Studio. And the interest of composing has grown bigger and bigger.
