Об исполнителе (группе) Passionate, inventive, and sensitive, double bassist Giuseppe Millaci is praised by the international press for his exceptional musicianship. After completing his studies at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, Millaci’s musical career took him beyond European borders to perfect his skills with Drew Gress and Marco Panascia in New York. He performed first as a sideman alongside the biggest names in Belgian jazz and then as a leader of Vogue Trio with French pianist Amaury Faye and drummer Lionel Beuvens. Millaci’s first release Songbook won him distinctions in various music magazines as well as the “Octave de la Musique —PointCulture” prize, awarded in 2018. His trio had the opportunity to travel the world in it's first year of existence. This album reflects the travel experiences, and the trio has shed light for this opus on a series of concerts in Central America that has proved to be a key moment in the evolution of their music. Each track on the album was dedicated to particular events and ambiances. If “Highway 132D" refers to a Mexican road that the trio used to drive on in an old blue Beetle, the title “Calavera" refers to art and spirituality, while the romantic “Timeless," through a skillfully executed and controlled counterpoint, takes the listener back to the West. The Endless Way is a condensed version of emotions that subtly blends into a masterfully performed music, with finely studied architecture and refined arrangements; a teeming universe in which the three instrumentalists, alternately accompanists or soloists, embark on improvisations that rival each other in intelligence, virtuosity and elegance.AllMusic | Discogs | Amazon
