aboutFrock are five musicians bringing together years of performsnce and writing experience into one ensemble. The group explores compositional forms and aesthetics from cultures as varied as Eastern Europe, Cuba, West Africa and Latin America. These influences are combined with passion, energy, and humour to form the unique hybrid that is Frock.Frock have toured Europe twice, playing four concerts at the Montreux Jazz Festival Off, also performing at festivals and in clubs in Switzerland, Italy, Germany and Austria. They have performed around Australia and Singapore several times, and released five CDs. Appearances in 2009 include the Stonnington Jazz Festival and Queensland Music Festival, and regular performances in Melbourne's jazz venues.
