She graduated in jazz and classical music from the conservatory and from IACP. She created the Brahma Sextet wich was nominated best band at the Montmartre Jazz Festival in 2002 and received 3 "Trophées du Sunside" in 2003. In 2004 they recorded the CD «Frida» with the support of SACEM. Leïla participates in other bands playing jazz and world music, such as the cuban salsa band Metiswing and the Sebastien Llado quartet.
