Артур Рассел (1952-1992) - человек загадка. Чем больше о нем узнаешь, тем больше запутываешься. С одной стороны он был убежденным авангардистом, исполняя произведения в The Kitchen и ассоциируясь с такими людьми как Ali Akbar Kaan, Rhys Chatham, Philip Glass, Phill Niblock и Alan Ginsberg. С другой стороны он был не менее убежденным поклонником disco выступая в The Gallery совместно с Larry Levan, Nicky Siano, Francois K, Steve D’Aquisito и Walter Gibbons. Но и это еще не все! Артур также участвовал в punk/post-punk сцене Нью-Йорка. Жил в одном доме с Richard Hell, работал совместно с David Byrne и практически был участником Talking Heads. Но прежде чем стать символом (в ретроспективе) музыкальной свободы в Нью-Йорке '80х с последующей смертью от СПИДа, Артур Рассел был просто начинающих фигурой в музыкальном мире города.
Интересный альбом, особенно первый диск. Минимализмом мелодий напоминает Moondog, но с богатыми аранжировками. Второй же диск - эмбиент из электро-виолончели.Рипы с CD-R.
