We want to bring back some of the great trumpet and sax R&B sounds from the 60's and 70's an give it a contemporary jazz feel with an air of sophistication. The eight original songs on the album are a blend of funk and Brazilian sounds with strong melodies. Produced by Grammy award winner Jason Miles the album boast some of the finest players in the jazz/pop scene today, including Brian Dunne on drums, Romero Lubambo on guitar and Amanda Ruzza on electric bass. In addition to the trumpet /flugelhorn melodies played by Dennis Angel ,the album features the beautiful sax sounds of Gottfried Stoger and a contrast in heartfelt vocals by 16 year old Rebecca Angel and veteran crooner DeForest Raphael.
